I work in collaboration with individuals to overcome personal obstacles and improve their mental wellbeing and quality of life. Challenges such as depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, low self-esteem, and more are not always pathological nor infinite. Working together in congruence to understand and manage these issues can definitely bring forth elevated wellness and joy in life. Traumatic experiences can leave us harmed and perforated in functioning, which is why I specialize in this area. These experiences can also give birth to other mental challenges such as above. I have overcome my own life experiences and I hold a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology. I am trained and certified in working with trauma (Clinical Trauma) for both individuals and groups, certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Motivational Interviewing. I approach therapy from these modalities, as well as integrate others in an eclectic style, tailoring the approach to each individual’s needs.

I have lived for a decade here in the Yukon and worked with diverse client groups including those living with developmental and physical disabilities, mental health challenges, and substance use and addictions. I have also worked with fellow people who just need to navigate life paths they deem stuck. Additional to my Counselling work, I bring a background in Nursing, lived experiences and a sound understanding of diversity in humanity.
